You start the transcription
Pick one of the seven providers based on your language, your accent or your budget. The transcription runs on the audio of the active sequence and comes back with word-level timestamps.

The AI breaks the content into markers
Chapters, moments to illustrate, questions, key points, calls to action, definitions: each marker carries its own colour and timestamp. AI Analysis returns up to 63 at once.

You tick what you keep
The selection grid only puts the approved items on the timeline. The rest disappears. Nothing is assumed on your behalf.

? Does my footage leave for a server?
Media Library indexing is local: ffprobe reads the metadata on your machine and writes a cache next to your files. Auto-Zoom face detection also runs locally, with nothing sent out.
? Do I need an API key for the agent?
No. Ask AI runs Claude Code on your machine with your own Claude subscription. No key is shipped inside the plugin, and there is no proxy server.
? Can the agent break my project?
It cannot write files, run shell commands, reach the web or spawn sub-agents. It acts on the timeline through the plugin tools, and nothing else.
? What if my files are badly named?
Claude can enrich your clip descriptions in batch. The richer the description, the sharper the search: it is the description that is weighted, not just the file name.
? How long does a big folder take to index?
The first pass scans everything, later passes only read the new files. The cache is incremental and lives next to your footage.
