Un-nest the sequence
Select a nested sequence clip on the timeline, click: it is replaced in place by its real content (video and audio clips). Trimmed clips are handled, only the visible window is rebuilt.

The first frame counts
On TikTok and Instagram, the first frame of your video is used as the feed thumbnail unless you set one explicitly. This tool places the chosen image as exactly 1 frame at position 0 of the sequence, on a dedicated track above everything else. The image is imported into the project and the track is created automatically.
Format: any image format (PNG, JPG, WebP). The resolution is your sequence's.

Goodbye nested sequences
Nested sequences are handy for grouping clips, but get in the way when you want to adjust the edit inside. The tool detects the selected nested clip, reads the clips and audio it contains, and puts them back in place on the main timeline. Trimmed clips are handled correctly: only the portion visible in the original window is placed.

? Where are the micro-tools in the plugin?
On the plugin home screen, in the "Micro Tools" section at the bottom of the grid. They are not dedicated tabs: they are one-shot buttons.
? Does the reels thumbnail work with any video format?
Yes. The tool creates a video track above the others and places the chosen image there as 1 frame. Whether your sequence is 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9, the resolution adapts.
? Does un-nesting handle audio clips?
Yes. The tool rebuilds the video and audio clips of the nested sequence. Audio-video links are preserved.
? Does the YouTube thumbnail work with shorts and lives?
Yes. The tool accepts links to regular YouTube videos, shorts and lives. It grabs the thumbnail in the best available quality.
? Is un-nesting reversible?
The operation edits the timeline in place. Undo with Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z like any Premiere Pro operation.
