These terms (the "Terms") govern the installation, use, and purchase of the Black Hat Editor Tools plugin (the "Plugin"), published by Blackhateditors LLC (the "Company," "we"). By installing or using the Plugin, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not install the Plugin.
Scope. These Terms cover the Plugin and its license API
(license.blackhateditors.com). The training platform available on blackhateditors.com
is a separate service with its own terms.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the Plugin on the number of machines covered by your plan.
It is forbidden to:
| Plan | Machines | Updates | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trial | 1 | 1 month · full access | $0 today · card required |
| Pro | 1 | 14 tools · unlimited renders · updates included | $40/month (or $384/year) |
| Team | 3 | All Pro + priority support + centralized management | $149/month (or $1,428/year) |
| Lifetime | 1 | All Pro + v1.x updates for life | $497 one-time |
Prices exclude taxes, in US dollars (USD). We may adjust prices for new licenses at any time; active licenses keep their rate for the subscribed period. Upgrade to a future major version (v2.x) may require a separate purchase.
You retain sole ownership of your User Content. The Plugin processes it locally on your machine. Some functions call Third-Party Services you have configured with your own credentials: those services then receive your content per their own terms. We do not collect, store, or transmit your User Content to our servers (details in the Privacy Policy).
AI functions (transcription, B-roll generation, motion graphics, asset search) rely on third-party services. Depending on your plan, these services are used either via a credit system we provide, or via your own API credentials; exact terms are specified at purchase. When you use your own credentials, you are responsible for obtaining them, paying for them, and complying with each provider's terms.
The Plugin validates your License Key with our server approximately every 7 days, with a 24-hour offline grace period. We may revoke a key for chargeback, key sharing or resale, or substantial violation of these Terms. Upon revocation, the Plugin enters restricted mode within 7 days. You may request review at support@blackhateditors.com.
We publish updates (fixes, features). We do not remotely disable a functioning installation, except as provided in section 6. Each plan receives the updates described in section 3.
No refunds on digital products. The Plugin, licenses (including Lifetime), and credit packs are digital content delivered immediately after payment. By completing your purchase, you request immediate service execution and expressly waive your legal 14-day cancellation right (EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU). Consequently, once payment is confirmed, no purchase is refundable.
The free one-month trial exists precisely to test the entire product before you pay: cancel before trial ends and nothing is charged. A cancelled subscription remains active through the end of your paid period, then reverts to the Free plan.
Pro (monthly or annual) and Team plans are cancelable at any time by email or via your payment area; cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid period, without renewal.
The Plugin is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or compatibility with any current or future version of Adobe Premiere Pro. This clause does not deprive the consumer of applicable statutory warranties (fitness, hidden defects).
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under the Plugin is capped at the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before your claim. We are not liable for indirect damages (lost profits, projects, data, or reputation).
We may suspend or terminate your license for material breach of these Terms. You must then cease using the Plugin and uninstall it. Sections 4, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of French courts, subject to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced in the Plugin's release notes and by email to active license holders. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
